Ten Things the Kids are Into Lately

This is in lieu of Friday's post and will probably only be interesting to you if you go by Grandma or Grandpa.

Madeline:

1. Everything. She's into everything lately. I used to be able to leave her in any given room and come back to the same room. But she is starting to dump things, tear things, color on things....

2. Princesses. She calls all princesses Cinderella although she has never seen Cinderella and her only real references for princesses are a few figurines that a woman in our we gave us. Oh, and there was the Twelve Dancing Princesses movie that we got from the library that she watched an obscene amount when we all got the stomach flu last week. That didn't help.

3. Corn. She can eat two or three cobs, easy.

4. Ice cream cones. That is the most fun way to eat ice cream hands down. Some of my favorite times in the last few weeks have been eating ice cream cones on the deck with Maddy.

5. Bubbles.

Matthew:

1. Farting noises. I can't really think of a delicate way to put that, but he is really into it. He has incredible sound-making capacity for a 6 month old. The last two nights he has woken up in the wee hours of the morning to practice and laugh about it. Proof that boys are born boys.

2. Every type of food except nursing. Sad...

3. Smiling. He is the happiest, sweetest child.

4. Being thrown in the air. A little adventure goes a long way with him.

5. Baths. He is going to be a LOT better swimmer than his mommy.

My name is Grandma, and I loved reading this! Yes, Madeline and Matthew are perfectly adorable and I am not at all biased either.
