It didn't make the cut, but I thought it was cute...

This is our attempt at a family picture so that we could send out a Christmas card on time. But for various reasons (clashing reds, my head be partially cut off, Maddy's missing a pony tail, the boy looks like a wet rag...) it wasn't quite sendable. We are hoping our Christmas in NY yields a great picture that we can send out with a New Year's card, or maybe even a St. Patrick's Day something or other. Or, if we have to, maybe a July 4th greeting or Thanksgiving of next year but that is absolutely as far as I am extending our Christmas card send out date for this year.

Merry Christmas y'all.

Shelley - it is perfect! Trust me, getting two little kids to look good in a photo is next to impossible. Don't feel bad if this is the best you get :) You all look fantastic and I just love seeing Maddy and Matt Jr. together - you are such a little family now!!!

What we are realizing, is that the more kids you have the more difficult it is to get that perfect family picture. I think the picture is great. See you tomorrow!

You'll love that I was snooping through the Kewish Family and found you guys. I'm a friend of Matt's from his DC summer and I actually met you at Traci Callahan and Clark Rampton's wedding. You two were just engaged...and now look, married, with two kids. I met you right after we had our little girl. Tell Matt hello!
