Oh, honestly. No one is reading this because who checks a blog that hasn't been posted on in months? Truthfully, my blogging woes have all come from not knowing how to put the picture in the actual entry. It has been one of those little things that sort of stresses me out every time I go to post and I don't write. I know you've all been so disappointed, all the two of you who stumble in here and actually read this. To you I say: hello.
Matt and I are now sort of settled in Charlotte, NC. I don't feel like a resident here yet but I don't feel like a Philadelphian anymore either. I am sort of in white fenced transition period. We have been here a month and I think I have been to the library a dozen times. It will be nice to settle into friendships here like we had in Philly.
More reporting later. This entry is simply a hello world. We are still here. I intend to post more so check on us every once-in-awhile.

Hey,Shel, good to know you're alive. So, I guess you just don't call me back 'cause you don't like me?? That picture of Madi is so cute, could her eyes be any more blue? Hope you are settled soon on your 3 1/2 acres. love, shannon
hi from me,avery
of course i check!!! everyone has to settle in and i am happy to hear that you are. i still feel like a "woman without a country" even though we have lived here just over a year...it has been one crazy year though.
Shelley, at times I thought I would give up. I almost did one week. But I knew you'd come around and I'm so glad you did.
See more people are still checking your blog than you thought. There's always a chance that something new and brilliant will come out of Shelley, so I never give up.
Nor will I. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new post! Glad you're back.
i want you to know that this is my first comment EVER on a blog. that's how glad i am that you are indeed back! i love your writing shell. (kaedi's gonna be so jealous that i actually drafted AND posted a comment - )
You're back! I knew it would happen someday! Maddy is so adorable!
Shelley! There you are! And a Southerner at that. I've been enjoying Van Gogh for a while, but Madi's sweet face was an improvement on a masterpiece. Love the new look, and can I please complain that you who 'can't' work the 'picture' aspect of your blog, now have POP OUT pics! WHY CAN'T MINE DO THAT? Glad, so glad, you're back.
Dad and I just read your new entries and re-read the rest. We love your expressive writing and love to hear about your experiences. You will soon feel at home in Charlotte. You both contribute so much wherever you are (It could even be in the West!) We are glad we got to meet Margie and some of the seminary kids and see some of the places you wrote about. We love you!

Shelly,
Yeah.. I am so glad to hear you guys are doing well. You know just to comment on the whole Margie Suarez thing... I am pretty much ready to pop any day now and she comes up to me and says: "I'm going to call Shelly McConkie and tell her how pregnant you are"..and then she preceeded to tell me all about how often she talks to you. It was good to hear through her, that you guys are doing great. And if thats not enough to make you smile...she caught Taylor and in the hall last sunday for 20 minutes...needless to say we didn't get home to 1'ish that day. We just started a blog you should check it out. wwww.polleifamily.blogspot.com
Hope to hear from you soon.
