For some reason the pictures are not coming up on craigslist today and that is making it hard to pick out a decent dresser to go into our closet (I am trying to jimmy rig the look of a custom built closet with $50 and some imagination. Wish me luck in that) so I find myself dinking around the internet waiting for the magic craigslist fairies to fix the pictures and so now I am doing what I do everytime I find a few minutes that need to be used on the old world wide web.
1. I check the Top 10 most e-mailed stories on NY Times and and learn about trends, the mortgage crisis and why sea salt is the best thing that ever happened to the chocolate chip cookie and then I 2. check and see if craigslist is working again and then 3. check a blog or two (not my own because I am well aware that my blog is as about and/or slightly more exciting than scrubbing my bathtub) and I read about all that everyone is doing and I see that 27 people have stopped to join in the celebration of their latest blog post (hey, I'm celebrating, too) and then I check our blog (poor forlorn, forgotten, frumpy blog) and I feel sort of kinda just a little bit isolated. Lone blogger in a big black text world. Caring enough to have a sporadic blog, but not enough to make it really sing. But yet it is nice to have a forum to share my anectodatal thoghts and opinions when the mood strikes. Like right now--something to occupy my head while I'm waiting for craigslist. But I am wondering why I have a blog if I am not commited enough to do anything with it. But, under that same reasoning, why do I bother having hair??

Thanks--I am laughing hard, and that is good for the health. Your last line is hilarious! May I remind you again to contact your local paper! Love, Your fan, Mom
Sporatic as it may be, we check. And those those times when you are in the mood.
We need to talk.
AMEN. Ditto, thank you, and all that good stuff.
Shelley: I check your blog every Sunday evening and always appreciate a peek into life in North Carolina. I wish we were neighbors so I could get person-to-person peeks. So, I for one, am appreciative of any post.
Love, Mom Mc
Your sporadic-ness helps justify me posting again after a 3 month lapse. See, there you are, inspiration.
